Get the bot running in 4 steps
From welcome email to your first signal in under 5 minutes.
Step 1
Check your inbox
After your subscription is confirmed, you should receive an email from us:
Subject: Welcome to VorteX
Inside, you'll find your unique invite link for the bot and your claim code.
Email not arriving? Check your spam folder. If it's still missing after 5 minutes, contact support.
Step 2
Invite the bot
- a.Click the invite link from your welcome email. Discord opens in your browser.
- b.Pick the server you want to add the bot to. You must have Manage Server permission on it.
- c.Confirm the requested permissions — the bot needs to read channels, send messages and embed links.
Step 3
Activate with /connect
Once the bot is in your server, activate your subscription with the claim code from your welcome email:
/connect code:YOUR-CODEReplace YOUR-CODE with the claim code from the email. The bot confirms once your subscription is linked to the server.
Step 4
Choose your channels
Point each alert feed at the channel you want — one command per feed. The bot needs Send Messages and Embed Links permission in each channel:
/setup-options channel:#options-flow/setup-gap channel:#gap-alerts/setup-news channel:#newsOn Pro, you can also route the 0-DTE covered-call screener with /setup-covered-calls.
Run /status to confirm your plan and channels are wired — signals start flowing as soon as the next one is detected.
Need help?
- Bot not posting? Check it has Send Messages and Embed Links permission in your selected channels, and that you ran
/connectfirst. - Wrong channel? Re-run the matching setup command (e.g.
/setup-options) with the correct channel. - Want to switch servers? Disconnect from your account preferences, then re-invite using your claim code.
